I AM Santa.

I AM Santa. I AM Santa. That's right, I am Santa! I like to think I make a good Santa, too! Being a good Santa can be a difficult role. For example, a successful Santa must start his/ her shopping early enough so as to make those truly special and highly prioritized items a possibility on Christmas morning. My oldest son's #1 item on "The List" is Bakugans. What is a Bakugan? Well, my only logical and helpful description would be a cross between old skool marbles and newly and highly annoying Pokemon cards. Apparently, Bakugans are worth their weight in gold and thankfully, I recognized that early on in this year's Christmas quest. I've learned how to be a good Santa having been a BAD one several times before, don't even get me started on Tickle Me Elmos and crap.

Thank you Amazon.com for your wide selection of overpriced Bakugans! Had you not been available to me, I might not be a "good Santa" afterall. Now, I have multiple Bakugans just waiting in the closet for their magical, Christmas morning debut! I realize that within a week of Christmas, I will be able to pick up & purchase Bakus pretty much anywhere for a normal retail price, but hey, I AM Santa (and a good one at that.)

It's really difficult to believe that this is where life has taken me. I now have the honor of staying up half the night assembling toys and items which offer very little to no assembly directions! As a good Santa, however, this does not scare me and I welcome the challenge annually! I also welcome the addded responsibility of purchasing and wrapping every damned gift, cooking breakfast for the family members joining us in our post present unwrapping mess, packing myself, a toddler, a preschool & a grown man for the following day's trip to No Where, GA. A good Santa never complains and keeps going until the holiday is OVER and anxiously awaits the next Santa List challenge!
